Bivian Lee’s legacy goes beyond footballFormer Emile High School standout and New Orleans Saint Bivian Lee is one of the most celebrated athletes in the history of this area, and on May 20, he took his place in the Bastrop Sports Hall of Fame. Lee was a four-year starter at both quarterback and defensive back for the Emile High School from 1961-65 and at Prairie View A&M from 1966-70. He was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the third round with the 54th pick and led the team in interceptions in both 1972 and 73. Hopefully our athletics department is working overtime to sniff out all these past greats who helped solidify PVAMU's athletic department.
